I am currently seeking an apartment in the Quincy area. I am going to chronicle my experience through this site. I hope some find it an enjoyable read. Here is my first entry…
I saw a listing for an apartment in the Saturday March 15th edition of the Herald Whig, it sounded like it fit my qualifications. I called the number and spoke with a woman named Tammy. We set up an appointment for 2:00 that afternoon. Tammy said that she would be driving a white van. I arrived at the property around 1:55, and did a quick inspection of the house, not too thrilled, but decided to view the inside before I came to any conclusions. Well, I waited until 2:30 and Tammy never showed up. I came home and did a quick google search of the number that I called and found the following information.
The number belongs to a:
Richard Whitaker of 4701 Ellington here in Quincy, an Adams county court record search reveals a Tamara(Tammy?) Whitaker also residing at 4701 Elington. Take this information for whatever it is worth. I don’t like having my time wasted. So, if you are ever looking to find an apartment in Quincy. I would most likely avoid one owned by the above landlords. Onto the next apartment…..To be Continued..
